Agility to minimize downtime
This patient-focused, 62-bed progressive care unit allows for the latest smart room technology. Critical-care headwalls in each patient room include more than 50 electrical, data and medical gas service drops. Each service drop was installed before the headwall ever arrived on site. Integrated technology improves infection control with easy-to-clean surfaces. Full patient washrooms include integrated DIRTT Millwork behind sliding barn doors.
Patient privacy was top of mind through acoustic design. And yet the plenum above the ceiling remains open for mechanical, electrical and plumbing. That means maintenance and changes in the future are easier with less mess. The inside of walls can be easily accessed. Equipment mounted on the walls can be shifted in a flash. Drywall repairs have been reduced to zero. Maintenance costs are expected to drop by $1 million annually because rooms can stay operational.
Thank you for giving me a room that makes me feel so good when I feel so sick.EvergreenHealth patient
