Though you might not be able to pronounce his name without some level of concentration, if you’ve ever had a conversation with the man you’ve never forgotten it. Mogens came up with the company’s name, DIRTT, because he knew from his decades in the modular construction world it could indeed be done right. His passion for sustainable construction led Interiors and Sources magazine to name him Environmental Champion in 2004. Alberta Venture magazine listed him in their Top 100 Entrepreneurs of the Century list. In 2010 Mogens received the award for Individual Achievement from the American Society of Interior Designers.
